Systematic Theology: Lesson 24, Part 61: The Biblical Approach to the Doctrine of the Trinity (58.03)

MP3

Continuing our Biblical Approach to the Trinity, we will finish with The Lord is the Spirit by examining his receiving of worship and comparing Old and New Testament passages:

The Holy Spirit is the Spirit:

  1. of the Father: Creation and Providence
  2. of the Father and Son: Christ’s Incarnation
  3. of the Son: Christ’s Earthly Ministry
  4. of the Father and Son: Salvation
  5. who dwells in us: Church

This will show us the Spirit’s divinity according to our standard four points with a focus on His Work:

  1. Name
  2. Perfections
  3. Work
  4. Worship
